The boyf and I headed out to Warwick Wine Estate this past weekend. Situated on the R44 towards Stellenbosch, this wine estate offers a Big Five Wine Safari and Gourmet Picnic Experience. I didn't take many pics because I was too busy enjoying the experience but I wanted to share a few to promote this beautiful wine farm. It really was a lovely experience and I'd recommend it to anyone living in or visiting the Cape Town area.
I'm somewhat of a red wine addict. Last year a group of friends and I did a Shiraz blending event at Riebeek Cellars in Riebeek Kasteel. The event was part of their annual Shiraz & Art Festival. It was so much fun, and the wine we made wasn't half bad! This year the event took place during the first weekend of October. Photos from this year can be seen here.
